✨Why have you chosen to work with recruitment?
Even though my childhood dream was to take care of dolphins, I changed my mind when I grew up. To put in a simple way, I love working with people. Recruitment for me is a way to help people to make their careers dreams come true. I truly enjoy the whole process from receiving the CV, through getting to know he candidate, guiding them on career choices. Recruitment is a lot about finding the perfect match for the existing team of your client and finding a perfect team for that unique CV that just landed in your inbox. And this is what I love doing.
✨If you could choose only one place to go on vacation for the rest of your life, where would it be and why?
That would definitely be Sicily. For me Sicily is perfect mix of great weather, fantastic nature, the best food, laid back Mediterranean life style and they speak in a way that sounds like romantic songs. Perfect mix and match.
✨What are you currently reading?
Pretty much my life is about preparation for the arrival of my first baby that is arriving any moment now and so the books I read are mostly on this topic too. There is however one book I have been reading on and off for a while now and doesn’t really fit in baby preparation – Black Year, Mafia War by Slovak Author Jozef Karika. The topic is very heavy and even though it is a fiction there are lot of moments that can be linked to real events that happened in the history of Slovakia and I remember those moments from my childhood.
✨Which season fits your personality best—spring, summer, fall, or winter—and why?
That would be Spring. It is like a magic when winter finally finish and you can sit out on a promenade, having coffee and reading book. When days are getting longer and don’t need to be dressed up like a onion and can switch umbrella for sunglasses.
✨What’s a skill you learned when you were young that you still use today?
Independence. That was something my parents always encourage me to be. I always took my decisions and the responsibility for them. I moved abroad by myself when I was 20, because I wanted to prove everyone that I can do it by myself, and never looked back to regret that. Being independent in my personal and professional life gives me feeling of freedom, and that pushes me to grow stronger.
