Our client, who is one of the leading affiliates and performance marketing actors in the iGaming market is looking to hire (remote) an experienced Front End Developer to join their rapidly growing team.
As a Front End Developer on the team, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary, distributed team to help create and maintain great user experiences across the portfolio of popular sports betting media websites.
You will contribute meaningfully to the discussion around UX / UI design, SEO, and product to ensure success for our client’s brands by keeping the user experience front and center.
You will work closely with devOps and the rest of the development team to ensure that what you create together will load fast on virtually any connection and run smoothly on virtually any device.
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, rapid to prototype while eager to collaborate and build readable, maintainable code.

What you will be doing:

Working with a distributed, international team of dedicated, multidisciplinary professionals

Meaningfully contributing to the conversation around the design and UX direction of our client’s brands and websites, keeping the user first and mindful of the technical requirements of SEO and limitations of mobile browsers and bandwidth

Building great user experiences that are easily maintainable and leverage APIs with minimal assistance from backend team

Assisting the product team in conversion and user funnel optimization efforts through your intuitive insights as well as implementation and execution

Taking ownership over your own quality assurance while working within a continuous deployment environment, being thorough in your own review before having stakeholders test and before ultimately deploying
Experience
Your Areas of Expertise:

4-6 years experience developing frontend / UI / UX in a professional setting

Very experienced with modern javascript frameworks, SASS, and related build tools

Very experienced with handling SEO requirements

Experienced consuming Rest APIs, XML/JSON feeds

Experienced with mobile-first layout / UI needs for content-heavy websites and apps

Some experience with frontend end development utilizing blade templates within Laravel or a similar framework

Great communication and organizational skills
Ways to stand out:

Significant experience using Laravel Blade Templates and/or WordPress templates

A track record of entrepreneurship, initiative, and risk-taking

Experience with the affiliation business model within the iGaming industry

Expectations
A 40 hour work week is considered typical, with some work occurring on weekends in the event of critical bug fixes but a high degree of flexibility during the week provided that meetings are attended and tasks are completed.
The primary team works in the Eastern Standard Time Zone and while this position is available to be remote, it is required that at least 4 hours of each workday overlap.
Remote employees may be required to attend quarterly workshops.
